My Story
Are you feeling like a mouse on a wheel, going around and around but never getting anywhere? I’m so pleased you have found yourself here. Working closely with me, you’re about to take the steps to get off that wheel and start LIVING your life.
Originally from Colombia, I have been living in Australia for over 20 years and am a wife of a lovable husband and mother to two courageous girls.
My journey towards being a motivator, life coach and life-changer began at the age of 9 when I lived in Japan and had to navigate a series of challenges that shaped me for life! Not to mention working my way up the corporate ladder for 16 years with global brands. With a focus on change, stakeholder engagement, training and project management, I helped implement systems, processes and solutions whilst building strong relationships. This provided sound foundations for my transition into coaching.

Patty Duque, is a certified coach, speaker and best-selling author who’s made it her mission to help others elevate their mindset and harness their happiness. She works with purpose driven women helping them get clarity, claim their confidence, find certainty and build emotional resilience allowing them to become the best version of themselves both at work and at home.
Prior to establishing her coaching business, Patty had over 16 years of experience in the corporate world mainly as a managing consultant where she assisted multinational companies deliver strategic projects across private and public sectors in the disciplines of organisational change management, project management, communications, stakeholder management and strategy.
It was during this time that she saw women stuck, uncertain and overwhelmed. They were living an imbalanced life that was impacting their mental health and preventing them from succeeding and living the life they truly desired.
This is why she decided to change her focus to assisting others in living an authentic, healthy and abundant life on their terms .
Working with kids
As Patty expanded her learnings about the power of the mind, she started teaching and implementing strategies with her daughters. Helping develop a growth mindset led to working with other children and their parents. Patty was approached by a cricket academy to work with young athletes and has been doing this since 2019.
Working remotely with a small number of athletes during the COVID lockdowns inspired her to create the Elevate Your Mindset Kids course. This training teaches children from age 6-12 to:
- Develop a growth mindset
- Manage their emotions
- Build self-awareness
- Claim their confidence
- Activate their internal ‘happy pharmacy’
- Improve time management skills
- Accept failure
- Access simple techniques that inspire them to achieve more

Patty was also able to apply her teaching to her young daughter, empowering her to write and illustrate four books by the time she was seven years old.
Patty’s experience, combined with her energetic, personable and practical qualities have proven to help many improve their lives.
Charity We Support
Patty Duque supports La Fundación Evolución del Pensamiento (Evolution of Thought) assists underprivileged children in the hills above the city of Medellin in Colombia, South America. It was started in 2008 by a small group of people in Medellin who wished to help vulnerable children in their community. The Fundación is led by a couple named Dora and Marino who provide food, recreation, education and much needed love! They focus on playing, studying and above all to be happy with what they have. They learn to tackle life with a positive attitude and a smile on their face.
